Finally Italy is starting to open the door to the varied and intricate relations between Italy and Australia.

A considerable advantage reserved for the members of the Italia-Australia Association is the possibility to  come into contact with the real Australia which wants to exchange  business, culture and experiences with Italy.

SUBIACO  LAZIO

SUBIACO WESTERN AUSTRALIA

We place a special importance on ‘sisterhood between cities’, in particular to that between the ancient city of Subiaco in Lazio and the very modern Subiaco of Western Australia, both at the gates of two great cities, one at the gates of Rome and the other of Perth.

Cultural exchanges aimed at the development of entrepreneurial initiatives.

Puglia and Australia share interests based on agriculture. The prospect of exchanges of experiences to identify areas of mutual interest are the motives that lead Meridien Migration Australia to establish the most important contact in the region, the Technical Institute of Agraria, through which interested Australians will be able to set up contacts with agricultural entrepreneurs in Puglia.

At the Professional Agrarian Institute, G.Presta of Lecce, the plan to render the Institute the gateway for Australians to access the economic possibilities in the region was laid out by Professors Luigi Paladini and Vittoria Italiano in the photo(left) together with the Australian Delegation and the directors of the Italia-Australia Association of Lecce.

Benefiting from the Australian Working Holiday Visa in order to expand contacts with the businesses of Campania.

The Working Holiday Visa program  between Australia and Italy was the central topic of the meeting with the Immigration Sector of the Campania Region

It is the most suitable scheme to  facilitate the entrance into businesses in the Campania Region so that they can benefit from the presence of qualified Australians holding work permits, to be employed temporarily and thereby establish real contacts for future developments in Australia to enhance their commercial and industrial expansion.

A suggestion by the Australian delegates was to create, with the support of the Region, a specialized consultation to provide assistance to Australians on Working Holiday Visas into the economic, social, cultural and industrial areas of Campania. Meridien Migration Australia also voiced its willingness to help the young people of the Campania Region on Working Holidays and Student Visas, to make their stay useful and fruitful.
